My favourite looks from Vera Wang fall 2012 ready to wear. Beautiful understated detailing, I’m such a fan of anything lace, sheer and embellished.

Friday’s look is going to be all about the dewy healthy skin that is subtle, which then follows a bold statement lip. I’m thinking for the Diana Vreeland inspired photo shoot to keep the face make up as natural as possible, dusted with a highlighter to give a healthy glow but the main focal point will be on the infamous red lip she wore. Time to find the perfect shade.

First & Forever
After celebrating 50 years in the business, iconic British boot maker Dr Martens are taking a trip down nostalgia lane. First and forever is the campaign that brings the new A/W collection by Dr Martens and searches the mind of the DM lovers and users for nostalgic memories in reassurance of the brand’s quintessential place in British fashion sub-culture. Their new concept for the First...

Most wanted: Sam Edelman
Each season the Lorissa features in the Sam Edelman collection with fresh colours and finishes being added each time, and each time I have been dying to get my hands on a pair. I can’t get enough of the studs, gems, and with the added colour of black these are my perfect kind of shoes.

J Crew Spring 2012
‘J Crew’s runway debut at the Lincoln Centre may have been my favourite presentation of the entire week. The collection stayed true to the brand’s preppy aesthetic, with saturated brights and quirky tailored pieces. I could see each and every piece having a space in my Spring wardrobe, my personal favourite being the sea green & blue matching pants...

Dior couture show without John Galliano
Christian Dior Haute Couture - Fall 2011 show collection was a mix of crazy cosmos, disco dollys and splatters of crystals with a space and geometry vibe - quite experimental and charming but pastel colours in Autumn/Winter, really?! What’s next Dior?  Images courtesy of IMAXtree.com and Matteo Volta

My unhealthy obsession with make up has descended me to the erotic campaign that is the Theatre of the Nameless, Illamasqua’s AW11 make up collection. I can’t get enough of the avant garde look for their fall collection that not only show creative and adventurous make up but offer a story with characters interpreting the subcultures in Berlin in the 1920’s.

AMY WINEHOUSE TRIBUTE
This post taken from my personal blog is entirely dedicated to Amy Winehouse - the woman who had the most incredible talent with a voice like no other in our generation who will also be remembered for her signature style and contribution to fashion. Her poofy backcombed beehive hair and winged eyeliner have inspired Vogue Paris to Chanel runways with Karl Largerfeld once describing her as...

SUMMER PROJECT
My tumblr ‘Inspiration is Motivation’ has always just been a plethora of black and white ‘inspirational’ eye pleasing photos, consisting of photos, photos and more photos. Since the Summer Project is to create a personal blog I’ve decided to make do and use this account rather than unnecessary starting up another. I’m taking this opportunity to take my blog in a...
